COMPUTER SCIENCE FOR MEN

Computer science is third most popular program among men to study in Germany. 77.6% male computer science students enrolled in the winter semester 2012/2013. Learning and development of software and IT systems and their optimization are taught in this program.

After having obtained a degree in Computer Science, 95% of university and 88% of college graduates find a good job within three months after graduation. You can earn, at average, € 3,700 gross per month which is considered a very well paid salary.

MEDICAL STUDIES FOR WOMEN

Medicine is one of Germany’s most popular degree programs for women.  In the winter semester 2011/2012 a total of 50 543 women obtained a medical degree.

As a physician you go through an extremely challenging study cycle. The curriculum include subjects such as anatomy, biochemistry, physiology etc. Like other countries you can also obtain a specialization in many different fields such as surgery, neurology, pharmacology and general medicine etc.

On average one can have a starting salary of € 3,750 per month gross. According to the CHE University Ranking 2013/2014 is the University of Heidelberg , is the best choice for medical studies in Germany.

      Rafiq, there are no tuition fees at the University of Passau. However, you have to pay a contribution of currently € 52 per semester to the student services organisation. You should budget about € 660 per month for accommodation, food, transport and other activities. The breakdown can be:
      Rent: € 180  to € 350
      Food: € 150  to € 250
      Transport: € 20  to € 30
      Books/Other: € 50 to € 100
